Genre wise the film is a political action drama. The film goes into deep study of politicians, security agents, and army. The name Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is a mere analogy used in a political drama enmeshed with tug-n-war like situation. The film shows what happens in the background in the name of politics. The film has a very gripping tale of political upheaval including India, Pakistan, China and also many other countries. This film has been made for everyone. Most people like to watch political thriller. However, adults will like this film more than the kids. The film has some great dialogues which can become a point of attraction for the audience. Few dialogues are bold but enjoyable. The rawness in the dialogue makes the film different than any other action thriller. The film has all the qualities of keeping the audience glued for over 2 hours. The interesting characterization makes the film worth watchable. The writer Dhiraj Bakshi has penned a unique story. Dhiraj Bakshi had a particular ideology in mind when he started writing the film. He has successfully achieved it. The most interesting part of the film is the name of the characters. He used the names of the Bollywood actor and actresses. It is really unique. People will quickly able to connect with the character names. However, the film is not on film. It is really interesting that the images people have in their mind relating to the celebrities. Few characters you can relate to and few you cannot. And it’s the most important part; you will get to know the slice of the lives of political personalities. The film is a study of the psychology of the political personalities. You can get to know what goes inside the head of politicians at the time of crisis. I don’t want to give a spoiler here. The film plot revolves around the political activities involving the top bosses of Indian politics. The film primarily talks about the current political situation of India, both internal and external. The film also mentions China, Pakistan and France. You may find the film really interesting as in the real world of politics; these are the issues that we come to know every day. The film is a gripping tale on what it takes to run a country while facing the enemies. It is really fascinating how Dhiraj Bakshi captured all the facets so uniquely. There are many sub-plots in the film. The unique nature of the sub-plots makes the film distinctive. In short, there are many stories within the story. The way Dhiraj Bakshi connected the dots is really fascinating to watch. Without a doubt, the film is successful in evoking the emotions so carefully. The film is an intense political drama. If you enjoy watching political dramas then you will enjoy Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge. Some of you may get stumped by the title but at the end of the film you will realize what Dilwale actually means. The intricacy of the subject has rarely been presented in films these days. Another interesting part is the name of the character. The moment you get to know about the names of the characters, it will create a stir in your head. The writer actually played with our subconscious. As I said earlier, it is a great psychological study of human mind. I would like to give 4 stars out of 5 to this film. The film has all the ingredients that a blockbuster requires. Filled with political actions and drama, Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge has all the ingredients to surprise you in every moment. It is a must watch film in this winter.
