Street Fighter 6 is going to stir up the exemplary battling game establishment amazingly. This has the potential to be the most ambitious entry yet and possibly the best fighting game of 2023 thanks to the addition of new modes, characters, and gameplay mechanics.

Each character has their own story in Arcade mode. We were captivated by Ken's and Lily's stories as we played through them all. In between matches, the stories are told through still frames, just like in previous games. Although these stories won't win any awards, it's interesting to see what drives each fighter. We also like the beautiful art in this mode, as well as the art you can unlock after finishing a character's story. Extreme mode is without a doubt the game's wildest mode. You can set modifiers before a match, like no jumping or special moves. You'll also choose quirky elements like having a bull rush through the stage during matches or bombs falling from the sky at random. It's both frustrating and hilarious to be knocked down by a charging bull without warning.

The fundamental gameplay of Street Fighter 6 is identical to that of Street Fighter V and Street Fighter IV. Characters have a perceptible load to them contrasted with more established 2D portions, which causes their assaults to feel more instinctive and significant. Because I've been playing these games for three decades, I was able to quickly get used to the controls. Capcom didn't play with what works, which is perfect.
