It's a tale that dates back ages! In order to bridge cultural divides, two film characters from opposing cultures fall in love and become star-crossed lovers. The core of Elemental is a romantic comedy film . Although previous Disney Pixar films have offered hints of romance, this is the first time the plot has been so explicitly romantic. The film follows the characters Ash Lumen (Leah Lewis) and Swim Wave (Mamoudou Athie), a fire and water component individually. The two embark on a mission together to solve a mystery that is plaguing the fire community following a comedic meet-cute, but what really matters is their bond.

Elemental doesn't have any particularly bad qualities. The story is a touching one about love, development, and acceptance, and it has a wonderful soundtrack composed by Thomas Newman. Elemental, on the other hand, is not particularly remarkable. Set in reality as we know it where the components of fire, water, earth, and air live respectively, the US against them mindset of the other components' bias against fire feels intimately acquainted.

Leaving the plot aside, the animation of Elemental is without a doubt a fantastic achievement by the animators. The design of the film characters is original and adorable. It is fascinating to watch the elements interact with one another and use their elemental powers to shape the land, particularly Ember's use of sand to create glass sculptures.
