“The Happy Statue” a short-animated movie directed by Curt Fulster is a beautiful movie. The film follows a cute animated tone, any kid would notice and be attracted towards it. The story focuses on a bronze statue, posing strongly with its ripped-up muscles and people clicking photos around it.

The seasons go by as the statue stays there, as the director shows the change of seasons by the shedding of leaves from the trees in the background. A little girl, one day passing through the same street, notices the bronze statue with a frown on his face, while a teardrop rolls down its cheek. The little girl noticing this, follows the teardrop falling to the ground and finds something written, the statue wants some encouraging words or a hug from someone. The little girl with her immense smile talks to the statue and hugs it hard. Even in its strong posture, the statue needed someone to hold him, make him feel better.

In the next two minutes, we notice a crane coming and placing a statue of the same little girl on the opposite side of the road with a sign written “You Got This”, made to motivate this bronze statue and if he needs a hug, she is always going to be standing there right next to him. A park named “Stronger Together Park” is made, where these two statues standby, making it again a public place, where the bronze statue will again be of value and noticeable to people.

A short 4 minutes film with such an amazing message, that everyone should understand, the need for happiness in life, and the need for someone to understand our feelings. A daily scene we all face in our day to day lives and how much we all need to be understood.
