Review of "The Alliance 2: The Hunt for Breeze" | Written by Gaurav Dutta
“The Alliance 2: The Hunt for Breeze”, a film directed by Robert L Butler Jr is an action-based film with bodies falling all around through its whole duration. The film has a protagonist named Breeze, who appears to be wanted by multiple groups of the mafia. The film follows his whereabouts as the agencies are trying to track him down.
They keep hunting him down from the beginning to the end delivering breathtaking action moments with one to one brawl, and also a zillion of gun blazing moments, with bullets shrilling all around the scenes. Sick headshots, and head bursts with the bloodiest encounters.
Breeze, the one person for whom everyone is causing this mayhem is chilling in his places. The film continues to broadcast his search as he keeps changing his locations fighting his way out by fighting trained assassins on the way. Killing and murdering these assassins with all the ways possible maintaining the gory nature of the film.
The visuals and transitions are amazing, as the story picks up as the film continues through. Drugs, cartels, murderers keep entering the plot of the movie. As finally slowly slowly the reason for Breeze being such a dangerous asset gets clearer. Some moments of nudity and sexually interactive scenes are there in the film that are soon killed down by fights and brawls in the moment.
The brutality and uncompromising aspect of the film makes it different and unique from the others. A film that may not be for the softhearted due to its head blasting and blood-filled scenes as there are a lot of murders involved throughout. Breeze, keeps running as a fugitive on the loose and fights people taller, bigger and stronger than him. He is assisted by a girl, who is a specialist in shooting heads it appears. She keeps landing headshots from vividly far angles to save his dangerous asset as the chase starts getting thinner and thinner.
A cat and mouse chase are not exactly the right phrase to describe this film, it’s more like a lot of cats behind one mouse in the chase, but the mouse appears to be outsmarting all the cats in this one. The film keeps the fight on through its entire length, keeping the audience engaged and gripped to their seats till the last moment.
The climax may cause a lot of jaws to drop, as the film provides an extremely unexpected plot twist in the end, which I would not spill, as it would affect the viewers for sure. Breeze and his gang keep on saving themselves, as men keep coming after them. The mafia keeps interrogating and brutally murdering people to know the whereabouts of Breeze as the film keeps pacing ahead. Towards the end, finally a stalemate is met that the confrontation becomes relevant.
“The Alliance 2” amazes viewers all along, with polished acting skills, and a massacre of action that can cause you to grab your popcorn buckets multiple times through its duration. A definite watch for any action movie lover and also for its short snaps of comedy through creative acting skills and a notice to the smallest tint of details.
The haywire scenario is the only flaw I believe for this movie, too many things appear to be going on at the same time in many sections of the film, where it becomes a little confusing to pick up with as the film keeps progressing, apart from this definitely a great film with a lot of flawless moments and reasons to watch for. Do give it a shot!
