Retro-enlivened platformer Tiny Thor, from Asylum Square Interactive, keeps on looking totally stunning in the present new ongoing interaction trailer. The upcoming adventure, which was shown off in February, looks like a 16-bit game, but it gives pixel-perfect platforming a unique spin.

Mini-Mjölnir will be used by Tiny Thor to get through many Norse Realms, including Midgard, Svartalfheim, and Niflheim. There are 30 altogether, traversing the length and expansiveness of Norse legend. Mjölnir's magical abilities include bouncing off walls, flying through the air at high speed, ground-pounding, and absorbing various elements to solve difficult puzzles.

Tiny Thor isn't little on challenges, by the same token. If you really want to challenge the Norse God, there are unlockable challenges and environmental puzzles to solve in addition to precision platforming. There's something for Mjölnir to do, whether you're swinging from ropes, avoiding spikes, or riding platforms.

The demo, which was made available as part of the Steam Next Fest a few months ago, can still be downloaded. Even at this point in its development, Tiny Thor exhibits promise. presenting an experience that feels like an evolution of classic PC platforming without being overly simplistic. However, there are a few aspects of its current presentation that appear to require a few adjustments to elevate it to the next level.
